It m...What a great summary of Camembert in the USA. It matches my experience exactly. Just today (Dec 15, 2006), I bought 3 wheels of the ISIGNY Ste Mere from a Whole Foods market here in Houston. Expiry date 12/26/06. $8/Wheel. Taste is very very good, and I will be enjoying it past the expiry date I am sure. I think the biggest problem with finding a Camembert here is getting the dating right. It's quite different in France, where the date of Production is on the wheel, and not the date of expiration.
